St. Kilian School adheres to academic standards established by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee with curriculum paralleling the Wisconsin State Academic Standards, with added Catholic perspective. The excellent academic standards established provide our students with the necessary skills for high school and beyond.
St. Kilian students have access to advanced placement (AP classes) of core subjects at Hartford Union High School. Currently, we have three 8th grade students taking AP algebra at the High School, three mornings a week. Our students also participate in district-wide writing skills assessments called the Six Traits.
Our school demonstrates its exemplary academics by consistently having 20% of its students inducted into the National Honor Society (national average is 10%). St. Kilian is the only Hartford grammar school that offers a Spanish program as part of its core curriculum. In addition, we have dedicated teachers for computer technology, art, music, gym, and library skills.
St. Kilian School is fully accredited through WRISA and the Milwaukee Archdiocese.
